Professional Events: Citywide Grand Rounds
pushing the field forward
education drives progress
The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois' Citywide Grand Rounds brings together experienced clinicians, notable educators, and young investigators for an evening of enlightening discussion and continuing education. The night's program provides attendees with an open forum, and affords them the opportunity to learn about advancements in research and medicine which may be outside of their core practice.
Upon arrival, guests will connect with new colleagues and enjoy a cocktail hour. The program will begin over dinner, where presenters will detail case studies, conduct moderated panel discussions, and offer brief updates on NKFI supported research. In addition to case discussions, previous Grand Rounds topics have included:
-
Communicating with chronic patients
-
Risk factors in minority groups
-
Statin medications and dialysis patients
